Field of Remembrance & Cenotaph Parade Tickets 2017
Similar to last year, in anticipation of ticket requirements for this year's Field of Remembrance & Cenotaph Parade, please read the following information carefully and adhere to the requirements.
Field of Remembrance: Entrance to the Field will be by ticket only and the gates will open between 0845hrs-1030hrs.
Security arrangements have not yet been confirmed, however, they are expected to be similar to last year's. Entrance to the Field involves passing through Police security checks, and everyone attending must bring two forms of ID, of which one must include a photograph (e.g. passport). Each ticket has a reminder on the back stating what information is required.
For those wishing to attend please click here, complete the form and return it to me (preferably via email to email@example.com), and tickets will be sent out to the address supplied, or can be picked up prior to the event. Tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis and requests need to be with me no later than Friday 29th September.
Cenotaph Parade: Tickets for the Cenotaph Parade are non-transferable and only valid for the participants who fit into the stated categories listed below:
> Category 1 - Ex-Service Personnel holding a campaign medal
> Category 2 - Civilians deployed on operations in support of the Military (includes; Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Civil Service)
> Category 3 - Ex-Service Personnel with no campaign medal
> Category 4 - Bereaved Spouses (Spouse who died on operations)
> Category 5 - Veteran Association representatives
> Category 6 - Military Charities and associated Civilian groups
In previous years, attempts have been made to acquire tickets for 'ordinary' family members to march, which should not be the case. Tickets are printed with individual participants' names, from the information provided. Additionally, photo ID will be required to access the event so please ensure that contact details submitted are correct, as the ID must match the fields that are required. Click here to download the form and return this to me, again preferably via email. Ticket requests need to be with me no later than Wednesday 12th September.
Carers who accompany disabled Veterans will require a ticket also.
Car parking information is provided, by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport. Should anyone be planning on parking in the North Horse Ride, please contact me on the number below by Wednesday 12th September also.
Tickets and joining instructions will be sent out some time in October.
