OFFICER'S PERSONAL OCCURRENCE

1. I regret to report the death, peacefully on 27th September 2017, of Lord Roger Manners. Roger Manners served in the 4th (Tank) Battalion as a Troop Leader and was described thus by his Commanding Officer, Charles Tryon: "a fearless and determined leader who did very well in battle. Self reliant and capable, he should develop into a very useful officer". Subsequently, he became a stockbroker and then lived in Wiltshire for many years.

2. His Funeral will take place in the Chapel at Belvoir Castle, Grantham, NG32 1PE, at 3pm on Wednesday 11th October 2017. All are welcome to attend.
