Bob served in the Grenadier Guards in 1955, as part of the National Service.
He was always very proud to have been a Grenadier Guard, and during his last journey to hospital he talked with pride, about the days he had spent in the regiment.
He passed away after a short and painful illness, on the 9th of September 2013.
He will be sadly missed by his Wife, Daughters Step-son and 8 Granchildren
