21002202 Mr Walter Anthony Veness formerly 3rd Battalion

It is with great sadness we report the death of Mr Walter Anthony Veness, who was a National Service Grenadier between 1948-1950 and served on Operations with the 3rd Battalion in Malaya in 1948, our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very sad time.

We thank him for his service in our great Regiment and may he rest in peace.

Funeral Details:

Although he lived in Waterlooville, in Hampshire, his burial service is at HD Tribe Chapel, 130 Broadwater Road, Worthing BN14 8HU, on Wednesday 24th April 2024 at 11am.

He will be interred at Durrington Century (Durrington Cemetery), Findon Road, Worthing, BN14 0AA afterwards.
