A message from the former President

“I write to thank all members of the Regimental Association for the magnificent silver salver presented to me on my retirement as your President. It has been a true honour and great joy to have had the opportunity to serve alongside all who selflessly work to support the welfare and wellbeing of fellow Grenadiers. Ten years have sped by and I am greatly touched that my tenure as President should have been recognised at all, let alone by such a splendid gift. It will be a permanent reminder of a most happy and fulfilling time.

I am eternally grateful to you all for the warmth of your welcome and the generous hospitality I received when I visited Branches. Witnessing first-hand the devoted commitment of officers and members from all Branches was truly inspirational.

I am delighted that Lieutenant Colonel Guy Denison-Smith has succeeded me, I know that you will give him the same unswerving support and encouragement as you gave me.
