Mr Ray Coombes Formerly Grenadiers and Guards Indepenent Parachute Company

It is with great sadness we report the death of Mr Ray Coombes who enlisted as a boy soldier in 1964 before being posted to the 1st Battalion and serving in The Queen's Company, he passed selection for Guards Para and served with them until 1975, our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very sad time.

We thank him for his service in our great Regiment and may he rest in peace.
