14617759 Mr Leslie Cottam of Bury St Edmunds
It is great sadness we report the death on the 27th June 2024 of 99 year old Mr Leslie Cottam formerly of the 4th Battalion and was a Churchill Tank driver during the Second World War who enlisted 3rd June 1943, the 4th Battalion were part of the 6th Guards Tank Brigade who fought from Normandy through to the Baltic Sea supporting Infantry attacks on many famous cities including Kleve and Munster, our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very sad time.
We thank him for his service in our great Regiment and may he rest in peace.
