Funeral of Guardsman Daniel Probyn - 29th March 2019

Grenadiers,

Guardsman Daniel Probyn was Killed in Action in 2007, on Op HERRICK 6. His family at the time were not ready to bury their son's ashes, but now feel that the time is right.

A short service will be conducted at Tipton Cemetery, Alexandra Road, Tipton, West Midlands, DY4 7NP on Friday 29th March at 1215hrs, which will be led by the Padre of the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards.

The family have asked if any Grenadier Veterans that knew or served with their son could attend, along with serving members of the Battalion; they would be grateful if you could join them.

The wake will take place afterwards at the Tipton Sports and Social Club, Sedgley Road, East Tipton, DY4 8XA.
