Funeral of 23688373 Melvyn Tongue

Grenadiers,

It is my sad duty to report the death of 23688373 Melvyn Tongue, one of our members whom passed away on 26th July.

Melvyn's funeral will take place on Friday 23rd August at 1330hrs, at St John the Baptist Church, Bisley, GU24 9DX. Everyone is welcome to celebrate Melvyn's life with Lorna Tongue and family at the Wake which will be held at London & Middlesex Rifle Club, Bisley Camp, GU24 0PA.

Lorna has asked that those attending the Wake, to please email her with your details (for catering purposes). Her email address is mellorn@mypostoffice.co.uk alternatively, please can you confirm to me if you intend to attend the Wake so I can inform Melvyn's family.

Family flowers only, but donations can be made to:

> The Bradbury Centre (where Melvyn went twice a week. Cheques made payable to Friends of the Elderly)

> RSPCA, Chobham (cheques made payable to Friends of Millbrook RSPCA)

> Men in Sheds (Where Melvyn went once a week. Cheques made payable to Age UK Surrey)

The Funeral Directors will be collecting all donations. I believe there will be a collection box which will be at the Church and at the reception.
