It is with much regret that I write to notify you of the death of Lieutenant Colonel Conway Seymour LVO. He died peacefully on 20 November after a long struggle with illness. Conway joined the Regiment in July 1961 and he had a full and eventful career, culminating in not just one but two extended periods as Regimental Adjutant. He was one of life’s great characters and will be very fondly remembered by everyone.

All are welcome to attend his funeral which will take place on Monday 9 December at 1pm, at St Thomas a Becket Church in Todenham, Gloucestershire, GL56 9NY. The family have requested no flowers, but anyone wishing to make a donation can do so in favour of Dementia UK and Regimental Charities, through Allen & Son (01608 650633). After the service there will be a reception in the Village Hall.
