DEATH OF 22213939 DAVID JOCELYN

Grenadiers,

22213939 David Jocelyn had been an active member of the Bristol Branch for many years and served on the Branch Committee. He was a great supporter of the Branch and a regular at all of our events. Unfortunately, Dave's health started to deteriorate about a year ago and he was admitted to a residential care home earlier this year. He found this extremely difficult during the 'lockdown' because this severely curtailed his social life as he was not allowed to receive visitors and take the short walks that he enjoyed. His health suffered further and he was admitted to South Bristol Hospital last week and sadly passed away on Sunday 6th December.

Dave will be missed greatly by all at the Bristol Branch.

The funeral will be held at 0900hrs at the South Bristol Crematorium, Bedminster Down, Bristol and due to the current 'Tier 3' restrictions there will no Branch Representation present. An Association wreath has been delivered to the Funeral Directors which will adorn the casket at the funeral.
