FUNERAL OF 2624998 GEORGE NORRIS

Grenadiers,

I’m sad to inform you that we have lost our lovely 2624998 George Norris,who passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Although George had been in hospital since the 8th December, it was on the 14th February that he caught Covid -19. His family are heartbroken as you can imagine, such a wonderful person who will be missed by us all.

George's Funeral will be held on Wednesday 31st March at 1100hrs at Walton Lea Crematorium, WA4 6TB.

George was one of our last WW2 Veteran’s, and his family have expressed that they would very much appreciate a military presence, if possible (obviously due to Covid restrictions).
