FUNERAL OF 22213837 ANTHONY F LOCK

It is with immense sadness that the Bristol Branch report the death of our Vice President and former Branch Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, Tony Lock (22213837).

Tony, a 3rd Battalion man, joined the Regiment in the early 1950's as a National Serviceman and after his two years National Service he was placed on the reserve and was recalled to the Colour in 1956 due to the Suez crisis. After Suez the 3rd Battalion were posted to Malta and then to Cyprus where Tony finished his service.

He had been a well respected member of the Bristol Branch for many decades and served as Branch Chairman from 1995 - 1996, as Branch Secretary from 1996 - 2002 and as Branch Treasurer from 2009 - 2018. Tony was made a Vice President of the Branch in 2016.

Tony's funeral will be held at South Bristol Crematorium on Monday 29th March at 1415hrs anyone wishing to attend the funeral to pay their respects are most welcomed to do so, but due to the restrictions on numbers attending funerals at present only family will participate in the service. Association members are invited to form a Guard of Honour outside.
