Death Of 22955968 Mr Ray Sanders-Cook

Grenadiers,

It is with great sadness that I must announce the death of 22955968 Mr Ray Sanders-Cook. Ray was a member of the Grenadier Guards Association, London Branch, who died on Saturday 20th August 2022. His son Mark does not currently have a date for his funeral, but he is meeting with the director next week and will let me know as soon as he can. Mark is happy for all Grenadiers that knew his dad to attend his funeral.

Ray was not only a fine Grenadier, but was also a member of the Queens Yeoman Warders (Beef-Eaters) at the Tower of London, where he helped the London Branch many times with night time tours and opportunities to attend the Ceremony of the keys. After retiring from his duty at the Tower, he and his wife Maureen moved down to Somerset.

On behalf of the London Branch I would like to send our deepest sympathy and condolences to his wife Maureen, family and friends.
