GRENADIER GUARDS REGIMENTAL OPEN DAY (GRENADIER DAY)

Grenadiers,

Grenadier Day will be held in Lille Barracks, Aldershot on Saturday 08 July 2023. This is an opportunity for the Past and Present members of the Regiment along with there families to come together and enjoy a day together as a Regimental family. The Regimental Lieutenant Colonel would be delighted if all members of the Grenadier Guards ‘Past and Present’, and their families, could join us for what will be a great day.

Timings:

12:30 – Gates open.

13:25 – Regimental Lieutenant Colonel addresses the Regiment.

13:30 – Opening act commences in the main arena (Band of the Grenadier Guards).

17:15 – Closing performance in the main arena (Band of the Grenadier Guards).

17:30 – Event closes.

Wonder wheelers.

Circus avago.

Laser clay shooting (Boyton cup).

Axe Throwing.

Archery.

Stuart McKinnon vintage military vehicles.

Falconry display.

Static birds of prey.

Bouncy castles.

Animal petting zoo (snakes and other exotic animals).

BBQ and bar.

Ice cream vendor.

Grenadier Guards motor cross team.

Parking:

Cadet force detachments – Parking will be made available on the main square. All mini buses must be booked in and details sent to Brice.Fanning100@mod.gov.uk Coaches – Any association branches arriving by coach will park on the main square. All coaches and mini buses must be booked in and details sent to Brice.Fanning100@mod.gov.uk Personal cars/vehicles – There is limited parking available, however members of the association will be able to park on the main square.
